Daughters of Lithuania

The Daughters of Lithuania provide assistance to the homeless, the sick, the poor, orphans, the elderly living in nursing home, families in financial need, and people with special needs in the USA, Lithuania, and other countries.

The organization was established in 1959 by priest Dr. F. Gureckas in Chicago, Illinois.  A small group of dedicated women showed a path of love and mercy to those in need.  As greater numbers of women got involved, God blessed this mission; help, love, care and hope were given to more and more people in need.  Today, there are several chapters of the organization in the United States that offer charitable aid.

Members of the Daughters of Lithuania provide financial, humanitarian and emotional support, bringing hope to those in need.  New members and donations are always welcome.
