As the year comes to a close, we reflect on the great progress we’ve made in our mission to promote and preserve Lithuanian culture and heritage at the Lithuanian World Center. Here is what we were able to accomplish thanks to the financial support of generous donors like you:
- Affordable Space & Support Services Program
- Provided affordable space to the 50+ Lithuanian organizations that used our facilities this year. In total, they saved at least $250,000 in user fees compared to market rate. We also provided these organizations countless hours of support services, including event planning, customer service, graphic design, and content promotion assistance.
- Lithuanian organizations supported in 2023
- Community Events Program
- Organized 14 events for the Lithuanian community that attracted an estimated 5,000 attendees, including children, families, seniors, and more.
- Events organized in 2023
- Facilities Stewardship Program
- Completed 35+ projects to maintain and modernize our 110,000 sq. ft. building and 18-acre grounds to ensure that the Lithuanian community continues to have a safe and welcoming place for its cultural, educational, religious, sports, and other activities.
